Gonda: The Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad initiative, launched to provide swift and effective redressal of women’s grievances, is steadily emerging as a powerful platform for justice, support, and empowerment. During the latest session held at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office, authorities heard a wide range of complaints from women and directed officials to ensure their timely resolution.
A total of 30 women presented their grievances before the administration during the Shakti Samvad programme conducted on Monday. The hearing was organized under the guidance of Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal, while the Additional Commissioner personally reviewed the complaints and listened to the concerns raised by the participants.
The cases brought forward included land disputes, family-related issues, and several other social and administrative grievances affecting women across the region.
One-Week Deadline for Action Reports
Taking a serious view of the complaints, the Additional Commissioner directed concerned departments to conduct fair and thorough investigations into each case. Officials have been instructed to ensure quality disposal of all grievances and submit detailed action-taken reports within one week.
Departments were also asked to provide comprehensive reports, including photographs wherever necessary, to ensure transparency and accountability in the resolution process.
Strict Accountability for Delays
The Additional Commissioner made it clear that negligence in handling complaints received through the Shakti Samvad platform would not be tolerated. Officials were instructed to resolve all cases in a timely, transparent, and effective manner.
Emphasizing a people-centric approach, the administration directed officers to communicate directly with complainants before closing any case and ensure that the women concerned are satisfied with the outcome. The objective, officials said, is to deliver meaningful solutions rather than merely completing procedural formalities.
Relief Reported in Pending Cases
During the session, several women also reported receiving relief in previously pending cases following intervention through the Shakti Samvad mechanism. Officials viewed this as a positive indicator of the programme’s growing effectiveness in addressing long-standing grievances.
According to the administration, Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad is not only helping resolve women’s issues but is also strengthening public trust in governance by providing a dedicated and accessible forum for justice, support, and empowerment.
